COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: At the Amager brewery we are comfortably situated far away from small-town modesty; we are not afraid of excess, and the term “moderation” is simply not found in our vocabulary. To us, gluttony is considered a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: hops! While making this beer we targeted the hops which shone brightest in our hop room, as if they were almost begging to be used in copious quantities. And that is what we did, as befits a Double IPA of the highest caliber. We have squandered to a sinful degree - and we love it. And we bet that you will too!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Cerveja sensacional.

Opaque light gold, medium white head. Nice fruity hop aroma. Quite bitter - but with a body to carry it. Good.

Tekstura: gęste i likierowe, nagazowanie umiarkone. Ogólne wrażenie: mocno aromtyczne piwo , bardzo słodkie z świetną goryczkową kontrą, dobry balans, jedyny minus to wygląd.

Bottle. Golden, hazy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and lightly sweetish aroma, some caramel and tropical/floral fruitiness, lots grapefruit some piney hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor, light - some caramel and tropical/floral fruitiness, grapefruit/piney hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish, light - some caramel and some tropical/floral fruitiness, lots of grapefruit/piney hoppyness. Really well hopped IIPA. Could be drier though (with less caramel). I am not fan of this floral fruitiness that Amager tends to have in their IPAs/IIPAs.

Pours haze golden colour with foamy stable white head. Aroma: alcohol is not detectable. Prevails floral notes of hops, with hints of fruity elements. Taste is fistly sweet, but immidiately knocks you strong bitter wave, which is in finish perfectly balanced with dry-fruity sweetness. Malt sweetness is medium, hop bitterness is high, body is sticky, carbonation is low.

Bottle at home, bought in Stavanger. 30th August 15. Wow great tropical fruit aroma, quite aromatic. Taste is bitter grapefruit pith, tropical fruit, lovely aromatic, perfume hops, really well balanced and never gets too sweet. heavy bitter hop linger. Fantastic IPA, Amager do these so well

BOTTLE. Pours like a tropical fruit juice, very hazy with minimal to no head.. Sweet HUGE tropical fruity nose, passionfruit ice cream, pineapple comes out with some warmth, nose is good!!.. Big sweet fruity hops through out, good bitter bite middle to back end with a resin stickiness to finish.. More bitterness, less fruit hops with a bit of warmth.. AWESOME! Sourced RW
