Tart citrus and pepper notes on the nose.
Head formed well, loosely packed larger bubbles.
Medicinal tastes at the front of the mouth alongside some stonefruit.
Bitterness lingers at the back of the tongue, but despite this, actually finished quite dry.

Draught @ Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours hazy amber wit airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, malt and fruit, with touches of yeast. Intense, bitter, hoppy flavour, with well-pronounced notes of fruit and citrus. Lingering, bitter aftertaste. Lively carbonation. Rich, round body. Good.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy golden with white head. You can tell just from pouring this that it is thick and full bodied. The aroma is amazing, full of citrus and pine, with mangos and peach, backed up by a sense of the sweetness to come. The taste is probably a little sweet for my liking, however it is nonetheless fantastic. A strong caramel comes through first, the the fruit and pine rounding it out nicely. Rather oily texture with moderate carbonation

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2014 Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Amager Bryghus tap takeover. Pours a cloudy dark amber with a thin longlasting white head. Aromas of malt, strong hops, caramel and lots of pines. Taste is the same very malty and piney with some caramel. Orange peel and grapefruit. Bittersweet finish with some saltø salmiak. Very nice but would have liked to tasted it earlier.

It doesn’t happen that often anymore, but sometimes I stumble upon a beer with such an amazing aroma that I get goosebumps. Gluttony is such a beer. The intense aroma is the perfect mix of a massive sweet caramel malty wall and a fruity hoppy overdose. I get delicious notes of overripe tropical fruits, mango and peach are in front, nicely backed up by crisp orange. The flavour is very strong and again very well balanced with the notes of the aroma. In addition I get pine, well integrated alcohol, and as the beer gets close to room temperature (I’m a slow drinker) I even get some sweet honey notes. It’s a close to full-bodied beer with a smooth and oily texture and a fitting soft carbonation. Absolutely fabulous!
