English: At the Amager brewery we are comfortably situated far away from small-town modesty; we are not afraid of excess, and the term “moderation” is simply not found in our vocabulary. To us, gluttony is considered a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: hops! While making this beer we targeted the hops which shone brightest in our hop room, as if they were almost begging to be used in copious quantities. And that is what we did, as befits a Double IPA of the highest caliber. We have squandered to a sinful degree - and we love it. And we bet that you will too!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Bottle. Amber with medium, semi-densed, white head. Poor head retention, medicore lacing. Aroma of exotic fruits, grapes citrus (lemon, orange), flowery. Taste is medium to high bitter, with nice floral and grapefruit peel-like hoppy profile, strong biscuity malty backbone, which balances hoppy bitterness. Medium body, thick texture, medium carbonation, finish is looong and bitter, little alcohol warming. In overall, may be not the best DIPA but solid, well balanced with nice hoppy profile. Worth trying.

Really nice DIPA. Its all about hops, but maltiness for balance is great. Quite intense grapefruit, peach, lighter lemon and pine, bit grassy. Fancy bitterness at start ends with robust bitterness in finish. Moderate to light sweetness covering all the way, Very drinkable and enjoyable brew

Yellow honey with a nice lasting head. You can smell somethings there from a distance after opening the bottle. And this is, of course, hops ( mostly nelson?). Hard to describe the smell, it is celery- breaded shrimps? Some citrus, mango, raspberries, no one-thing can describe. Tastes moderate, low-medium carb. and alc. levels. The same odd (nelson?) taste that is perhaps described as raspberries with shrimps, breaded :), bitter cherries lasts through the entire palate. It is not sugary at first, what is good, but towards the end sweetens up as perception changes. Aftertaste leaves an additional bitterness. Its not overly complex but then everything this does You get, in a simple expectable manner.

Very cloudy orange-tan, thin fizzy white head, streaky legs. Smells of lemon/orange dish soap, a little heavy/syrupy, tart, sharp, some cinnamon/spice. Taste is sharply fizzy, apple juice, musty, very bitter and piney. Body is bitter, fizzy, thick, sweet and spicy. Palate and nose both a bit too concentrated/cloying. Maybe not fresh? Started too acidic/sharp but improved a lot as it warmed up. Lots of lemon tartness, dry resin bitterness, spice and sweetness.

Bottle from Craftissimo at home. Hazy - very hazy - peach gold pour. Aroma is orange zest creamsicle hops, unfortunately with hint of that chemicalness in some other Amager beers. Taste orange zest and intense pine bitterness. Just a bit of the chemical taste, not that bad. Very big and bitter and boozy. Lasting warmth from the booze. Nice.
