COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: At the Amager brewery we are comfortably situated far away from small-town modesty; we are not afraid of excess, and the term “moderation” is simply not found in our vocabulary. To us, gluttony is considered a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: hops! While making this beer we targeted the hops which shone brightest in our hop room, as if they were almost begging to be used in copious quantities. And that is what we did, as befits a Double IPA of the highest caliber. We have squandered to a sinful degree - and we love it. And we bet that you will too!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Smpled from bottle @ Cardinal. Hazy golden body with a moderate sized off-white head. Nice aroma from American hops with peaches, pineapple some oranges and other citric fruits. Flavor is fruity like aroma and biter on a fine caramel malt base. Alcol is well hidden. Medium body and fruity bitter aftertaste. Some complexity, but basically a very nice straight DIPA.

500ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, medium gold, with a white head. Hoppy, herbal aroma, spruce, apricot, grapefruit peel, the Sorachi notes shine through quite clearly. Off-dry, medium to full body, high bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, spicy, herbal taste, spruce, resin, apricot, passion fruit, grapefruit peel, mango, grass, yeast, caramel. Well balanced, quite drinkable. Nice. (20-08-24)

From bottle. A clear honey golden pour, with a fluffy blond top leaving fine laces. Intense hop aroma. Leafy, minty and resinous, with notes of oranges and pineapple. Nicely balanced by lots of gently sweet caramel malts. Full body. Juicy in the mouth. Very flavorfull. A bold bitterness to a big malt body. Lots of fruity and oily/resiny hops, along with rich and inviting caramel-accented malts. Very complex and very well crafted. A no-nonsense, geniune American-styled DIPA.
