COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: At the Amager brewery we are comfortably situated far away from small-town modesty; we are not afraid of excess, and the term “moderation” is simply not found in our vocabulary. To us, gluttony is considered a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: hops! While making this beer we targeted the hops which shone brightest in our hop room, as if they were almost begging to be used in copious quantities. And that is what we did, as befits a Double IPA of the highest caliber. We have squandered to a sinful degree - and we love it. And we bet that you will too!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Bottle. Slightly cloudy pale golden body. Aroma has flowers and tropical fruity hops: mango, pineapple, almost rotting tangerine. Surprisingly thin and unmalty mouthfeel with big hop bitterness. Finish has oily hops. They admit that they just threw all their favourite hops (6 types) into kettle and the result is expectedly ambiguous - this is indeed a big hoppy beer but the hoppiness has no defined direction. I think the real sin here is Greed - you don’t need to use all the hop varietals you like at the same time. You can’t always expect synergy to happen when you combine random things: more often than not, less is more... I suppose it’s alright if you’re into that sort of things.

Draught. Hazy orange liquid with small white head. Aroma of citrus, mango, tangerine, weed, dried fruit, bread, caramel and grapefruit. Taste is dry and high bitter with notes of citrus, caramel, grain, bread and husky astringency. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Quite nice. A bit diacetyl though.

0,5L bottle, BB 12.2015. Pours hazy golden-amber with white head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, berries, pine, caramel, and buttery. Taste is sweet, caramel, pine, and grapefruit hoppy. Finish is buttery pine bitter. Alcohol is well hidden, rather light for the ABV. Overall: very nice DIPA.

Sødlig og heftig humlearoma. Dejlig duft. Mørkegul og grumset. Meget grassy og voldsomt humlet med dejlig sød rund smag. Ommenomnom. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy light orange color, medium white head. Sweet malty and fruity aroma with notes of orange, biscuit and some strawberry. Taste has similar notes, it is mostly sweet with heavy hoppy bitterness in finish. Medium body and average carbonation, alcohol is well hidden. Great sweetness and bitterness balance, nice fruity IPA.
