COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: At the Amager brewery we are comfortably situated far away from small-town modesty; we are not afraid of excess, and the term “moderation” is simply not found in our vocabulary. To us, gluttony is considered a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: hops! While making this beer we targeted the hops which shone brightest in our hop room, as if they were almost begging to be used in copious quantities. And that is what we did, as befits a Double IPA of the highest caliber. We have squandered to a sinful degree - and we love it. And we bet that you will too!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Bottle from Slowbeer. Very rich and balanced. Aromas of caramel, biscuit, nuts, and grass. Taste starts sweet, with bitterness taking over for a long finish. Palate is silky, and full bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.

Bottle @ BBF. Aroma is huge pine, flower and fruity hops, medium caramel malt note in the background. Flavuor is again huge fruity piney hops, with a strong but noy too sweet malt background. Loverly stuff and dangerously easy going.

On draught at the Boreft Beer Festival, 2011. Pours a golden colour with a medium white head. Very hoppy with resinous hop characters of grapefruit, passion fruit and pine. Delicious!

Bottle. Clear orange color, short head. Aroma of loads of hops, tropical fruit, pine, grapefruit, citrus, hint of mint, bit flowery. Very complex because of all the different species and nicely balanced among them. Dry bitter taste on a biscuity malty backbone. Dry finish. Love this.

Pours tan with a slightly off white head and an amazing tropical fruit aroma with a hint of caramel. As soon as the beer hits your palate there is an explosion of sweet tropical fruit flavour then the dry bitterness kick in as it rolls down the throught. Cant taste the alcohol at all and its so well balanced. This is truly an amazing DIPA i love it pitty its so expensive here in Australia.
