English: At the Amager brewery we are comfortably situated far away from small-town modesty; we are not afraid of excess, and the term “moderation” is simply not found in our vocabulary. To us, gluttony is considered a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: hops! While making this beer we targeted the hops which shone brightest in our hop room, as if they were almost begging to be used in copious quantities. And that is what we did, as befits a Double IPA of the highest caliber. We have squandered to a sinful degree - and we love it. And we bet that you will too!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

500mL bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma of perfumey floral hops, a little pine and some caramelized biscuity malt. Flavour brings out pungent floral and piney hops upfront, along with a modest biscuity malt backing just for support. Extremely flavourful and superbly well-designed. Very dry body, with a moderate dry astringency on the finish. Excellent DIPA.

Bottle at Amager Brewery, Copenhagen, 15.1.15. Thanks Papsoe. Opaque amber with white head. A little grainy and warm aroma with some melon. Dry, bitter and a little soapy taste. Medium body, delicate carbonation, bitter finish.

0,50 bottle purchased at the Hoppy Imp. in Greece, consumed in Kosovo. Best before 09/2016 so I assume it is quite fresh. Pours orange skin color, very cloudy with a great white low foam which offers drafts on the glass. Nose: oh yeah! Summer juicy fruits: peach, apricot with a pleasant buttery background. Some mango too. Mouth: one of the finest bitterness in a body dominated by milky malts. Very dense fruitiness with a very balanced and dry bitter end. Fantastic beer which recalls its sister Shadow Pictures although this is tastier. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Butelka 50cl. Bardzo słodkie o nutach klejącego ciasta z toffi. Mocno Gorzkie o nutach skórki pomelo i żywicy. Do tego nuty alkoholowe są mocno wyczuwalne. Faktycznie piwo bez kompromisu. Osobiście mi pasuje.

Golden with a white head - Good aroma of hops - Good malt to support a good hop flavour and a very good bitterness - The hop bitterness goes into a lasting finish - This was good

Aroma is not as big as I expected, but quite good - fruity and hoppy. After some time you could feel Sorachi Ace hops in it. Taste is good and strong, seems, like Sorachi Ace is dominating there (there are also Herkules, Citra, Simcoe, Centennial and Amarillo hops used). Bitterness is quite strong, but not overpowering. You could feel even some sweetness, but not a hint of alcohol. Nice, silky texture of the beer. Long lasting bitterness in aftertaste and it grows with every sip (although it could be more interesting). More you drink, more you like it. Very good DIPA, but there are better ones.

Amber coloured beer with 2-3 finger white head, nice lacing and slight carbonation. Very fruity and hoppy aroma. In taste it’s orange, biscuit and vanilla with a great deal of bitterness to it. It’s kinda sweet also. I think it’s marvelously balanced though. Definitely worth a sin :)

klar gylden lys i glasset, meget let skumkrone, let bitterhed i eftersmagen, en skefuld sukker havde været godt.... En papsø ting..
