English: We asked our smartass marketing director what beer would be a good choice for the sin of Greed. He only pondered for a sec and then said: “We should simply do as all the big players do: make a cheapass beer and sell it at a premium prize – that’s greed for you alright”. Our marketing director is a smart guy, so of course we did what he said. We even put a picture of him on the label. The beer however turned out pretty badass. It’s a straight up German Pilsener without any fuss. Dig it – we do.
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Brewed from pilsener malts, Tettnanger and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops and a Southern German lager yeast.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 7C). Bottle 50 cl - Batch 997. AROMA: almost absent hop aroma with notes of some diacetyl and a pinch of background DMS and acetaldehyde. Overall background of grainy and slight sweet malt. APPEARANCE: pale gold color and very slightly hazy. moderate creamy white head with average persistance. TASTE: overall malty-sweet and grainy flavour. imperceptible hop notes. some background DMS and diacetyl. very low bitterness with an almost sweet finish. PALATE: medium to medium-low body with a slight texture form diacetyl. OVERALL: a very nice keller version but without much hop presence.

Gulbrun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter sitron, korn, løvetann og litt papp. Medium fylde på denne "pilsneren" i følge Amager. Søtlig noe honning, lett fruktig. Kort lett bitter avsluttning.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin broken white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is light sweet malt. The flavour is light bitter with a smooth watery malt, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Rather poor. No different to those American mass produced malt liqours that we love to hate.

50 cl bottle. Batch #997. BBE 03/2016.
Pours pale golden color with a large head. Very grainy aroma, dried fruits, some hay and maybe a tad of malts. Harsh bitterness on the palate, grassy and grainy flavor, some very subtle herbal notes, slick finish. A simple grainy brew.

Hazy yellow color with small white head. Aroma of grains and grass. Keller-like, a bit. Light and bready, grass hops, bitter finish. Definitely a Kellerbier, but with a Pils hopping. A bit boring. Below Amager’s standards.

@ Havregatan 150331. Bottle (500 ml) from Skjold Burne, Helsingör. Sweet and malty with grass and hay, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is dry, bitter, sweet and malty with grassy and hayish notes.

Very pale yellow beer, Grünstich, well-carbonated, almost no head. Dough, garden herbs and weeds, bit earthy, citrus. Malt, and green herbs, weeds - not really hoppy. Dull-spicy. Light, medium carbonation, ends with very little flavour. Even if I’m greedy, I’m not going to choose this...

500ml bottle. Clear yellow color. Medium size, white bubbly head, stays. Malty and sweet aroma. Malty, sour, starchy, sweet taste. My teeth stick! That’s how sweet and sticky it is.

Deep yellow with a white, drytasting head, nice lacing. Aroma of pilsner malt and floral heartsease pansy. Taste bitter for a pilsner, grain. Decent carbonation. Bitter aftertase.

Smells like crappy lager. Tastes even worse. Fuck this. There’s nothing positive to say about this at all.
