COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We asked our smartass marketing director what beer would be a good choice for the sin of Greed. He only pondered for a sec and then said: “We should simply do as all the big players do: make a cheapass beer and sell it at a premium prize – that’s greed for you alright”. Our marketing director is a smart guy, so of course we did what he said. We even put a picture of him on the label. The beer however turned out pretty badass. It’s a straight up German Pilsener without any fuss. Dig it – we do.
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Brewed from pilsener malts, Tettnanger and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops and a Southern German lager yeast.

Draught@CPH BF 2013. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, yeasty and also has some fruity and floral notes. Flavour is fruity, grainy, floral, mildly earthy and also has some mild toffee to it. A bit thin in the palate, but otherwise nice.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy pale golden, rocky head - looks delicious. Very distinct grassy hop aroma. Bone dry with clean, crisp mouthfeel. Plenty of salty, grassy hops, remarkably bitter finish. Pretty much very close to my ideal beer, however the lack of malt softness makes it a bit harsh and inky.

Hazy gold beer with a decent white head. Palate is crisp and dry. Minerals. Dry malt. Peppery spice. Little citrus and dry seltzer. Dry finish. Dull and dry. Really wants something more to bring it alive. I want something more - is that greedy?

Cloudy blond color with medium sized compact head. Nice aroma, although rubbery in the beginning, it shows some crispy cereal, and strong grassy notes. Light and smooth mouthfeel, with a crispy and clean malt profile, good contribution of cereals; very good hopping, both strong and aromatic, evidence of noble hops, with straws and grass.
Excellent beer, delivering fresh sensations.
