COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We asked our smartass marketing director what beer would be a good choice for the sin of Greed. He only pondered for a sec and then said: “We should simply do as all the big players do: make a cheapass beer and sell it at a premium prize – that’s greed for you alright”. Our marketing director is a smart guy, so of course we did what he said. We even put a picture of him on the label. The beer however turned out pretty badass. It’s a straight up German Pilsener without any fuss. Dig it – we do.
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Brewed from pilsener malts, Tettnanger and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops and a Southern German lager yeast.

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2012 Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma was nicely packed with grassy hops, flowers and a few hints of german malt. Flavor had a lovely authentic german pilsener taste with german hops and a breadish taste. Grassy and crisp. Dry and bitter. Very authentic. Any ratings of this based on a less than a 50 cl wont do it justice. Masterpiece!

@ Havregatan 150331. Bottle (500 ml) from Skjold Burne, Helsingör. Sweet and malty with grass and hay, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is dry, bitter, sweet and malty with grassy and hayish notes.

Very pale yellow beer, Grünstich, well-carbonated, almost no head. Dough, garden herbs and weeds, bit earthy, citrus. Malt, and green herbs, weeds - not really hoppy. Dull-spicy. Light, medium carbonation, ends with very little flavour. Even if I’m greedy, I’m not going to choose this...

500ml bottle. Clear yellow color. Medium size, white bubbly head, stays. Malty and sweet aroma. Malty, sour, starchy, sweet taste. My teeth stick! That’s how sweet and sticky it is.

Deep yellow with a white, drytasting head, nice lacing. Aroma of pilsner malt and floral heartsease pansy. Taste bitter for a pilsner, grain. Decent carbonation. Bitter aftertase.

Smells like crappy lager. Tastes even worse. Fuck this. There’s nothing positive to say about this at all.

500ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Almost clear golden color with white head. Malty grainy aroma, grassy, hoppy, light citrusy fruity. Sweet and light bitter taste, like the aroma with more citrussy bitterness. Light to medium oily body with soft to average carbonation.

0,50 bottle purchased at the Hoppy imports in Greece and consumed in Kosovo. Pours a very pale yellow hay-like color, slightly hazy almost clear with a small white head and a decent retention. Nose: light notes of yeast, bread, grains with a hidden hint of banana. All of that very light. Mouth: citrusy dryness on the palate, milled grains, light and good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear yellow, white head with pretty decent lacing. Perfumey-floral hops, malt and slight sweetness in the nose. Flavor is pretty much the same. Very drinkable, a quaffer, but not exactly interesting. Shared by martjoobolut, thanks!
