COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: This strong Belgian ale is so rich, so sweet and so luscious, that we wouldn’t hesitate calling it pure lust in a bottle. During the making of this beer the general mood in the brewhouse turned somewhat sensual if not downright erotic! And everybody involved in the brewing spontaneously engaged in heavy cheek kissing. If it wasn’t for the unexpected ring of the doorbell things could have gone even further… This beer is so lustful that we cannot vouch for the consequences if you serve this to your girlfriend over a candlelight dinner. This may very well result in a lifelong payment of child support. We have brewed a beer with the most sensual of sugars we could find at our local grocery store. We were tempted to spice it up with well-renowned aphrodisiacs like Spanish fly or oysters, but frankly we didn’t see the need for it.
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear reddish amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet malt. The flavour is strong sweet with a fruity, light yeast palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A pure sugar bomb with not much else. Struggled to finish the bottle but made an extra special effort on this occasion as it cost me 11 Euros.... no wait, 12 Euros. Damn you Greece :-) Liked the label tho....

Good yellow-cream head over veiled red-brown beer. Very aromatic, indeed rich nose with chocolate, laurel/bay leaf, certain fruitesters, roasted malts. Overperfumed jumble of flavours; sweet, red fruit, sweet chocolate, yeastfeatures, gingerbread, spices, brown candi sugar, molasses. Liquid Mon Chéri Rather fine carbonation, medium to well-bodied, slick and oily. Too laden with... everything. Why must "Belgian" always mean a conflicting mess? (Oh, yeah, that’s the definition of Belgium)...

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit (dates, raisins), muscovado sugar, a touch of chocolate, molasses and orange peel. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, treacle, dried fruit, chocolate, muscovado sugar, orange peel and a sweet, vinous finish with low bitterness. More than medium body, quite sweet. A bit one-dimensional, mainly sweet and vinous, but tasty and quite well balanced. Nice one.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy dark copper with red tinges, small off-white head. Nose is dried fruit, caramel, sweetness, toasty notes. Flavor is sweet, malty, toasty, fruity and a weird hint of berries. Finishes with alcohol and sweetness. A bit odd. Bottle shared by martjoobolut, thanks!
