COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: This strong Belgian ale is so rich, so sweet and so luscious, that we wouldn’t hesitate calling it pure lust in a bottle. During the making of this beer the general mood in the brewhouse turned somewhat sensual if not downright erotic! And everybody involved in the brewing spontaneously engaged in heavy cheek kissing. If it wasn’t for the unexpected ring of the doorbell things could have gone even further… This beer is so lustful that we cannot vouch for the consequences if you serve this to your girlfriend over a candlelight dinner. This may very well result in a lifelong payment of child support. We have brewed a beer with the most sensual of sugars we could find at our local grocery store. We were tempted to spice it up with well-renowned aphrodisiacs like Spanish fly or oysters, but frankly we didn’t see the need for it.
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Very dark ruby body, modest beige head. Aroma; dark malts, fruits, grassy hops, prunes and spirits. Taste; dark sweet malts, dark syrup, prunes, raisins, sugared grains. Somewhat dry on palate, strong body, modest carbonation. Finishes spirited, malts and fruits are still there. Overall sweet complex stuff. Thanks to Tim and Rachel! Sweet tea colored pour with almost no head. Virtually only fruity yeast aroma with roasted nuts. Stronger in flavor and sweeter. American amber brown hybrid fermented with Belgian yeast. It's ok.

Duft av karamell, sjokolade, krydder og bær. Mørk brun farge. Lite skum, ringlangs kant.

Ganske glimrende dansk "belgier".

17/III/14 - 50cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: I/2015 (2014-294)

Clear ruby red to purple beer, irregular big beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. aroma: caramel, dried fruits, Rochefort yeast?, some chocolate, hint of banana, fudge, little sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet sugary start, caramel, dried fruits, dates and figs, chocolate, little bitter, banana peel. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, some mocha, cacao powder, sugary touch, dried fruits, some overripe fruits, bit of a weird funky ending, resulting in a 7 instead of 8 for taste.
