English: We thought about this for a long time: what kinda beer would give us the utmost feeling of pride in The Sinner Series? Well, if you know Amager Bryghus you already know that Imperial Stouts have a special place in our hearts. So “Pride” simply had to be an Imperial Stout. What is special about this take on the style is that we boiled the h… out of it. Actually we boiled it for 6 hours, making for a richer and fuller version. We would never dare calling this the perfect Imperial Stout - that would be taking pride way too close to hubris! But we hope you enjoy it nonetheless. We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Brewed from Pale Ale, Wheat, Crystal, Black, Chocolate malts and roasted barley, hopped with Zeus and fermented with an American yeast strain.

Wspaniały Imperialny Stout, pomimo całej mocarności, gęstości - niezwykle aksamitny. Aromat i smak bardzo podobne, gorzkie kakao, kawa, palone słody, ziarno jęczmienia i grzejący, ale dobrze ułożony alkohol.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet’s BU. Pours black (dark, dark brown if you look very closely). A tiny, brown head. Alcohol, date, red fruit nose. Thick, oily body. Medium to low carbonation. Warming. Mostly sweet. Quite bitter as well. Date, plum, raisin, red fruit, licorice and some tea flavour. Quite good!

Roasty, ashy, a bit weird. Wasn’t a huge fan of this, somewhat rough around the edges and sweet/boozy.

Black with a small brownish head. Delicate, impenetrable aromas, with hints of anise and cocoa. Full bodied, low carbonation, velvety, very smooth, cocoa liqueur with loads of sweet caramel. Very long bitter cocoa finish, never astringent nor too roasty. Wonderful body to this beer and lots of harmony troughout! Delicious.
