COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We’re hardworking people here at Amager Bryghus. Only once in a while are we lazy bastards. But it happens. We have to admit that we were lazy when we designed this beer. One malt, one hop – albeit a good one – and then our house yeast. Well, how hard can it possibly be to create a sessionable American Pale Ale? And that’s what we’re offering you here. Sometimes brewing is hard work. Sometimes it’s a work of art. And then sometimes it’s a walk in the park. Take a stroll, sit and relax on a park bench in the sun and be lazy with us. We promise you won’t regret it. We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…
Brewed simply from pilsener malt and Simcoe hops and fermented with an American yeast strain.

Draught@CPHBF2013 - Golden in colour, with a good white head. Zingy, fresh fruit hoppy aroma and taste. Citrus highlights of peach/lemon/grapefruit. Sweet to bitter finish balance is pleasing on the palate. Very nice.

How in Earth is this an APA? There’s too many hops in here! Really hoppy aroma, resiny and slightly citric. Also resiny flavor with a powerfully bitter end. Very refreshing, nice.

Keg at Mikkeller & Friends. Very pale pour, looks very lagery and thin. Great aroma: lots of ripe tropical fruit and tangerine. Mango and orange in the taste alongside some crisp biscuity malt. Dry yet fruity finish - lingering hop bitterness. A great, straightforward APA - really enjoyed the pale malt character.

(Bottle) Yellow colour, slightly hazy, with huge frothy white head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, mandarin, passion-fruit, lemon peel, peaches, a touch of honey and floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, lemon peel, passion-fruit, peaches, a hint of honey, bready malt in the background and a dry finish with a generous floral/citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

100ml, tap at Ølfestival København. Clear golden body, white head lacing the upper level of the glass. Fresh fruit hoppy aroma, lightly spiced. Fruity taste of peach, mango, lemon and grapefruits, followed by a bittersweet finish. Easy to drink and easy to like (Copenhagen, 23.05.2013).

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Piney hop aroma, a touch of hay and grass, some lemon, a touch of orange. Taste is dry to bitter hoppy, astringent, minimally grassy, cautious hints of lemon. Very dry, narrow, restricted, without unfolding.

Pours gold with a fading head. Nose shows apples, lychees, nectarine, fruit blossom and confectionery along with some wheat and biscuity malt. Pretty hoppy, bitter flavours. Not much fruit except for some grapefruit notes. Some pine and spicy hops. Very low malt. Finishes dry with a very sharp bitterness. Nice moderately high carbonation.
