COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We’re hardworking people here at Amager Bryghus. Only once in a while are we lazy bastards. But it happens. We have to admit that we were lazy when we designed this beer. One malt, one hop – albeit a good one – and then our house yeast. Well, how hard can it possibly be to create a sessionable American Pale Ale? And that’s what we’re offering you here. Sometimes brewing is hard work. Sometimes it’s a work of art. And then sometimes it’s a walk in the park. Take a stroll, sit and relax on a park bench in the sun and be lazy with us. We promise you won’t regret it. We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…
Brewed simply from pilsener malt and Simcoe hops and fermented with an American yeast strain.

Pours gold with a fading head. Nose shows apples, lychees, nectarine, fruit blossom and confectionery along with some wheat and biscuity malt. Pretty hoppy, bitter flavours. Not much fruit except for some grapefruit notes. Some pine and spicy hops. Very low malt. Finishes dry with a very sharp bitterness. Nice moderately high carbonation.

On tap a Fermentoren, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma of floral citrus hops, meadows and biscuity malts. Flavour brings out floral hops, bitter citrus hops, and zesty biscuity malts. Very astringent, zesty and biscuity. Borders on an IPA -- very hoppy. Great stuff.

on tap at Fermentoren. Very quaffable in the sunshine on the patio. Some bitterness, fruits. Very simple but all that you would ask for a Simcoe hopped pale ale

On tap at Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is weak hoppy leading to a crisp medium bitter, grassy, hoppy flavour. A super refreshing, classic APA.

Growler. Gold with a white head. Aroma of lychees, passionfruit, gooseberries, grass, apricots, limes. A very little sweetness, loads of tropical fruit, lime, firm bitterness, dry finish. Late prickle of pine needles. Just short of abrasively hoppy.

50cl bottle, served in Shaker. Clear orange colour with a nice white frothy head. Orange peel, citrus, and a bit of pine on the nose. The flavour is mostly citrus and pine as expected, with hints of tangerine added, leading to a sharp dry bitterness in the back (very long). No alcohol presence. Medium body, perfect carbonation. Actually simple, but very well brewed. At first looks over-hopped though inmediately becomes pleasant. Good APA!
