3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle 500 ml at home, poured into a tulip glass. ABV 6%
Bight golden orange colour on the body, mostly clear, with two fingers of white head on top, average retention and light lacing left on the glass.
Aroma of caramel malt, quite hoppy with notes of pine, citrus, orange peel, flower notes.
Taste of floral hops, begins quite bitter and it stays like that during the whole drinking process, becoming even more bitter on the aftertaste. Pine and citrus.
Medium body, good carbonation. Quite dry on the palate.
Overall very nice APA.

Bottle @tasting. Pours pale yellow, very thin head which dissipates almost immediately. Grapefruit on the nose, this is quite same-y. The taste is like the smell one dimensional, not bad just lacking depth.

So fresh and bitter. Pours hazy bright orange/yellow and lots of fruity aroma. Very nice body and balance from start to finish. Top score for this style of IPA.

Rather bitter pale ale. Too earthy to my taste. Also lacking some florality or fruitiness

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy yellow with a good white head & lacing. Citrus and pine aromas, some bread from the pale malt. Taste has a big bitterness, no other malt to back the hops up a bit, but drinks more like a 4-5% pale than a 6%. Very nice.

On tap @ In De Wildeman.. Clear blonde color. Dense white head with good lacing. Aroma’s: Pine, grapefruit, resin, some citrussy acidity retronasal. Flavor is moderate to full bitter, but not harsh, with light notes of biscuit malts.. Medium bodied. Long lingering bitter finish. Nice!
