COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We’re hardworking people here at Amager Bryghus. Only once in a while are we lazy bastards. But it happens. We have to admit that we were lazy when we designed this beer. One malt, one hop – albeit a good one – and then our house yeast. Well, how hard can it possibly be to create a sessionable American Pale Ale? And that’s what we’re offering you here. Sometimes brewing is hard work. Sometimes it’s a work of art. And then sometimes it’s a walk in the park. Take a stroll, sit and relax on a park bench in the sun and be lazy with us. We promise you won’t regret it. We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…
Brewed simply from pilsener malt and Simcoe hops and fermented with an American yeast strain.

Pours hazy yellow with medium, thick white head. Aroma is lightly fruity with apples, maybe grass, but also yeasty hints of basement, leaves and maybe even a hint of rot. Could be honey in there as well. Taste is slightly sweetish at first before turning into a pungent bitter. Finish somewhat lingering, heavy. Low carbonation and light to medium body.

Tydlig smicoehumle smak. Tydlig citrusbeska.

Pours hazy golden with white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit and pineapple. Taste is pineapple, grapefruit, citrus and grass. Unfortunately there is no body and it feels flat. The wonderful aroma makes you disappointed. It has some bitterness, but it just disappears to quick.

Nice slightly hazy straw yellow brew with a white head. Aroma: fresh hops, pine, fruits such as orange, lemon, some sweet tropical fruits, grassy note. Smells fresh and inviting. Taste: medium bitterness with notes of grapefruit, grass, citrus fruits, pine. Refreshing, simple, beautiful! highly enjoyable.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy deep golden, rich airy head. Huge perfumy nose with kiwi, passion fruit and gooseberry. Mid dry wit medium body and rounded mouthfeel. The exotic fruits and perfume from the dry hopping dominates. The firm malt base provides balance.Thie finish holds long, citric bitterness. Uncomplicated, but really nice.

In bottle. Smells like pine, hay, autumn leaves, and bathroom. Tastes refreshing with a grapefruit-bitter finale. Very solid pale ale.

Aroma: Smelling of apple, grape-fruit and grass.
Appearance: A clear straw colored beer. A high off-white head with good lacing and some curtains.
Taste: Tasting white bread, grape-fruit juice, lime peel.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, a watery texture. A small body with a long dry finish.
Overall: Very refreshing in spite of 6%.
Note: Bottle 500 ml. Reviewed 2013-03-03.
