COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: We’re hardworking people here at Amager Bryghus. Only once in a while are we lazy bastards. But it happens. We have to admit that we were lazy when we designed this beer. One malt, one hop – albeit a good one – and then our house yeast. Well, how hard can it possibly be to create a sessionable American Pale Ale? And that’s what we’re offering you here. Sometimes brewing is hard work. Sometimes it’s a work of art. And then sometimes it’s a walk in the park. Take a stroll, sit and relax on a park bench in the sun and be lazy with us. We promise you won’t regret it. We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…
Brewed simply from pilsener malt and Simcoe hops and fermented with an American yeast strain.

50cl bottle [from trade with Yespr] @ hotelroom, shared with 77ships. Slightly unclear yellow color, full sized rough white head that leaves a fair lacing. Lovely aroma of hops, resin, pine and spruce. Taste light to moderately malty, hops, very bitter, a lot of grapefruit and citrus. Lovely! Medium to full body and carbo.

Very good and simple beer. Great lingering bitterness. Aroma is. Very clear and crisp. The malt though could be a little more intense. Body could be a litter heavier. Very good bitter crisp brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2013 Smpled from bottle @ Cardinal. Hazy yellow orange body with a small white head. Nica aroma of citric fruit, oranges and pineapple. Flavor is sweet and fruity with a solid bitterness without being to overwhelming. Medium body with a fruity and bitter aftertaste. Not really complex but very nice composed. A solid version of a rather plain beer style.

500ml bottle. Loads of passionfruit coming through in the aroma, very sweet and pleasing in the nose. There is also some hops in there as well. Vibrant golden amber colour with a head that settles to an even layer of white foam. Like the aroma the flavour is mainly passionfruit with so mild hop bitterness. All round this is a good brew.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours a dark golden colour with a nice fluffy head. Aroma is lovely and fruity, smells fantastic! Taste is full of citrus and grapefruit, goes down a treat. Would be a great session beer and was better than I expected!

500ml bottle. Pours a pale gold, with a white head. Hoppy, citrusy aroma, grapefruit, spruce, wheat, malt, grass. Dry, medium bodied, high bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, resiny taste, grapefruit peel, malt, grass, spruce, yeast. The bitterness totally dominates the palate, the body and mouthfeel doesn’t match it at all. (2012-08-24)

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Hazy yellow pour with a frothy white head leaving lovely lacing. Lots of citrus on the nose with a hint of resin. You can smell the bitterness that it is going to deliver. Has a very fresh feel to it. Almost minty fresh hops in the taste. Loads of citrus, pine and bitterness work their way over the tongue. The palate is consumed with a very clean and sessionable yet bitter pale ale. A pleasant surprise. Unbelievably good stuff

Visual: Pours a slightly hazy and pale amber with a white head. Aroma: Very fruity (citrus) and with a hoppy bitterness. Taste: bit fruity and some sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. Bitter finish. ---Rated by Sumonation
