Danish: Saisoner er in. Saisoner er hippe. Simpelthen.

English: Saisons are in. Saisons are hip. It’s as simple as that. So far, no one has come up with a good explanation as to why this very traditional Belgian farmhouse style has suddenly skyrocketed in popularity amongst the in- crowd of the beer geek nation. Except, of course, for the fact it’s simply a very delicate drink in all of its refined simplicity. But we’ve committed a sin. We couldn’t resist. We poured our Amager Saison variety into a barrel. We hope the soft tannins from the wood and the noble Pinot Noir grapes add a juicy extra twist. By doing so, we may bring the wrath of Saison fundamentalists upon ourselves. But frankly, we don’t give a damn!
We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it…

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours dirty dark amber with a frothy heads that dissipates but leaves a nich scum layer on the surface. The aroma is yeasty sweet and citrusy. Delicious. The taste brings on the complexity of the wood, which means mowe bitterness. It tips the balance over to the hoppy side and disguises some of the malt. It’s a good beer, but he sour and bitter wins over the malty and sweet. It’s a soft beer, though, and an excellent appetizer.

semilasting big bubbbly beige head. Light clowdy amber color. Small caramell aroma with a small smokey tuch. The smokey and caramell is also present in the taste. Medium but hard bitterness. Malty finnish.

500ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Clear amber color. Medium size, yellow head, stays. Sweet, hop extract, papery, dead yeast in aroma. Straw, dead yeast, Belgian yeast in taste. Sweet and yeah words are useless here. Not a traditional saison for sure. Actually I don’t know what it is.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cookie cutter saison aroma. Wyelabs? Mid orange, decent frothy head. Utterly digusting taste. Some sharpness of lemon. So rough, pretty nasty. Total fuckup of a saison, an insult to the style. Chemicals from a bio lab. Horror. Nope.
