COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Amber lager rich in malt with a sweet start and dry finish. The Weyermann Pils, Munich and Caramunich malts deliver the buttery feel experienced up front, but the clean finish leaves you wanting more.

Draft served in an imperial pint glass at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy orange-gold with a small, resilient white head. Aroma of herbal hops, pepper, pale malts, citrus peel, and cereal. Flavor of peppery, herbal hops, sweet and Munich malts, grass, toast, and sawdust. Light-medium bodied, with a spicy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Pretty nice marzen.

Skyview (4859) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - NOV 1, 2009
Sampled on draught during Great Taste of Midwest 2009 in Madison Wisconsin as Amalgamated Märzen. Pours a semi-clear golden amber colored brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring yet retains some spotty lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, some floral hops and a touch of maple. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with flavors of caramel malt, a touch of apple and some bread dough. Finish is smooth and semi-sweet with some light floral hop background. Borderline between Vienna and Munich style Octoberfests.
