This beer looked like a porter with that dark, almost black body, that had some red. A one finger tan head lasted only a couple of minutes. This beer began with roasted notes, dark fruit, and molasses. Then coffee kicked in. As it continued to warm the chocolate asserted. It finished with that chocolate along with plums and prunes. It was very interesting, very flavorful, and very complex. My only question is to the adherence to style.
