COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed by Amarcord Brewery in the small medieval town of Apecchio, Italy, AMA Bionda is a beer made specifically for the Italian dinner table. Designed by Brooklyn Brewmaster Garrett Oliver, AMA Bionda is a golden beer with a soft but complex floral and fruity character, born of aromatic malts, three types of hops, Italian Orange Blossom honey from Sicily, and water from springs that date to Roman times.

Large sample of light pale liquid with light white head. Nose is floral and lightly sweet, maybe juniper and jasmine. Flavor is quite smooth and lightly sweet, some grainy notes of malt and wheat. Smooth light body an easy drinking

A golden beer with high carbonation. Low head retention. Medium body. Spicy aroma, seems to be fermented with wit yeast. It has some honey residual sweetness. A good beer, next time will pair it with pizza, or something Italian. Simple but excellent.

Bottle from Booths, Penrith. Sweet honeyed aroma, with background citrus, vying with Belgian Herby yeast. Pours a lovely pale gold colour and has plenty of fizz on the tongue. Light sugary flavour, with faint apple notes, which gives some balancing dryness. Doesn’t taste like a 6% beer!

Slightly hazy honey yellow color, huge white head that stayed for a very long time. Aroma is great: banana, peach, very yeasty, malts, spices. After that, taste was a letdown. Mild citrus, lots of coriander, malts. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Not my favorite style, but still... this is good stuff.

Bottle, 10C. A gusher. Amber with a white head. Aroma of light caramel, grain, honey, pears, orange blossoms. On the light side of medium bodied, moderate carbonation. A little sweet with a dryish finish. Fruity with pears, some berries and oranges. Some honey. Lowish bitterness with some spices. Cursed myself (and Purvis) for not noticing it was bb August, but it’s very nice anyway - a mellow and intriguing quaffing beer that’s at once a bit rustic yet has some finesse.

In bottiglia. Aroma di cereale, frumento, miele. Al palato corpo leggero, note di frumento, coriandolo, miele. Finale corto.

Bottle from Seiyu for 400 yen. Served in a half-pint glass. A crystal clear gold with a foamy white head that leaves soapy lacing behind. 6% it has a big sweet fruity orange aroma which is no surprise as it was brewed with orange honey. The body is on the rough side and a bit light. The taste is sweet crackery light malts, honey, floral notes of possibly jasmine and that orange fruitiness. Quite nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
