COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed by Amarcord Brewery in the small medieval town of Apecchio, Italy, AMA Bionda is a beer made specifically for the Italian dinner table. Designed by Brooklyn Brewmaster Garrett Oliver, AMA Bionda is a golden beer with a soft but complex floral and fruity character, born of aromatic malts, three types of hops, Italian Orange Blossom honey from Sicily, and water from springs that date to Roman times.

Bottled 355ml. Apple and pear showing up in the nose which is fresh, inviting. Medium bodied. Some bitterness which gives some balance to this beer. Coriander reminiscence throughout. Nice orange honey components. Pleasant.

New Beer Distributors, NY 355ml ($6): I suppose I sort of bought this because it had a nice bottle. Pours an orange with a light white head. Aroma is strong citrus + Belgian yeast. Taste is slightly sweet. It is, however, kind of attenuated. I think it be a bit bland.

(From notes 3 Oct, 2012) Bottle. A bit hazy golden color, white head. Aroma a bit malty, some orange and honey. Not bad, but quite a light blonde beer; too light for me.

from Drinks of the World, Bern - hazy blond beer with a fair white head left; estery with fresh notes of apples; slightly yeasty; medium-bodied; moderate carbonation and a gentle bitterness; more fruity tones in a refreshing aftertaste - charming and balanced

Super hazy golden blonde coloured body with a nice, fast-dying off-white head. Aroma of hay, grass, a bit of yeast and a little hoppiness. Light-bodied; Strong yeast flavour with some hay, grass, lemons, coriander seed, wheat and a touch of spices. Aftertaste is quite complex with spices, coriander seed, hay, grass and some light hops noticeable for a while afterwards. Overall, a nice beer - light and airy, but full of flavour and a decent complexity that lasts long. I sampled this italian (wide bottom, small neck) styled twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 09-June-2012 for US$5.25 sampled at home in New Paltz, New York on 21-July-2012.
