When cold, the grainy malt flavor in the background don’t stand out in any way, neither good nor bad, but as it warms up, it starts tasting adjuncty. Slightly grainy nose shows just a touch of peppery hops, but overall it isn’t very aromatic at all. However, as it warms up, a bit of adjuncty, cheesy aroma starts coming out. Light bodied, but not thin at all, and carbonation is moderate, but the palate starts feeling a little stale after awhile. Hazy, pale-golden color. Pours a small, white head that settles to a thin layer and wide ring. No lacing. Overall, the spicy hop character isn’t bad, and given how bland the rest of the beer is, the spiciness really does stand out. But this really needs to be consumed cold because it goes downhill quickly as it warms up.
