COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We chose to call our beer Gradisca, because we brew it in this corner of Romagna and San Marino, between the sea and the mountains, a land rich in history and amazing stories. But above all, as a tribute to an illustrious celebrity who was born here, film director Frederico Fellini, who conquered cinema-goers the whole world over with his rich and poetic vein of inspiration, winning as many as four Oscars for his films, including, of course, Amarcord, where Gradisca is the protagonist. Elusive and unattainable, but the object of everyone’s desire. Her sheer grace and elegance are a perfect match for the delicate color of a beer to suit any occasion. This special lager beer has a bright color and forms a light, compact head. The flavor is full and rounded, with a pleasant taste of hops and a delicate scent of flowers. It presents to the palate with a pleasantly fruity aroma accompanied by a refreshing aftertaste of hops that makes it particularly refreshing.

Suggested pairings:
Excellent as an aperitif or with fresh and light dishes such as pizza, vegetables, white meats, sautéed vegetables and savoury pies.

Note: Uses the name Gradisca on the local market, and Prima Donna for export.
Known for being 4.7% ABV in the past, now at 5.2% ABV.

Ceeveza dorada. Refrescante, ligera, un poco amarga y malteada. No demasiado gas. Buena como aperitivo.

(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a blond medium-sized frothy head. Slightly grainy and delicately bready malty nose with hints of honey, popcorn and shades of spicy hops. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Initially slightly sweetish malty taste with discreetly bready and grainy notes, unfortunately lacking hop character as a counterweight; sweet malty and slightly sticky finish with a very restrained hoppy touch far in the backyard. Clean but bland Lager. 02.VIII.16

Note: 6/10

Une blonde qui laisse aller sa mousse et un mince voile en survit. Un nez malté, de grains et d’herbes quelconques, ou peut-être florales? Les saveurs sont semblables aux arômes avec une touche minérale et âcre. (M.A. 14/01/17) (1880-210716)

Bottle - 330ml. Slightly hazy, golden body with heavy carbonation and an instantly fading, white foamy/bubbly head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with flowery and corny hints. Its fresh, well balanced, malty/hoppy taste carries herbal and candy sugar notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish. Drinkable.

330 ml bottle from SAQ, served almost cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Fairly clear deep golden with a so-so white head. Aroma: Oddly vinous, sort of fruity, lots of cardboard and wet paper, a kinda sweet graininess, maybe a bit of nail polish remover? Palate: Medium body, medium-ish carbonation. Flav.: Yeah, there’s a little pear drop, cardboard/wet paper, still has a kind of vinous character, grainy; dry with low-ish bitterness and a nondeScript grainy sort of finish.

Quite meh.

pours clear bright yellow with a small white cap offering some retention and lacing. fat chewy pils maltienss, doughy cereals - touch of chardonnay grapes and honey sweetness; grassy oxidation, light citrus - lemon curd perhaps; salt and otehr tasty minerals. moderately low carbonation, light body - oily; smooth and balanced grassy finish. off-putting oxidation herbaceousness but this is a more than decent lager.
