2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
50cl bottle from Kihoskh. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt with some alcohol and hints of hops. Slightly unpleasant, but decent enough. Drinkable, but nothing special.

Overall: about what you would expect for an Belgian style Italian made beer. Not great.

Bottle@Home. A pretty standard Belgian blonde: malty, bready (more than normal) and hint of hops.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Amber coloured and hazy. Has a white head, diminishing. Sweet, malty aroma, faint fruity too. Flavor starts moderate sweet, light acid and faint bitterness. Creamy, syrupy texture.

Slightly hazy amber beer, ghost of a head. Some fruit on the nose. Light crisp palate turning softer. Sweetish malt, a little nutty and creamy. Fruit salad sweets with a trace of honey. Semi dry finish. All right if a tad malty.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
0.5 L swing-top bottle, purchased at some gift-shop in Samsø. Hazed golden amber body. Rapidly fading blond head. Sweet roasted nuts and marzipan to the nose. Vague fruity yeast tones. Farly sweet flavor. Light caramel, notes of something herbal, and hint of yellow fruits. Not very full. Slick, light watery mouthfeel. Light malty, sourish-sweet endnotes. Does not stand out in any way, but drinks ok.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
2012: Clear amber colored Italian ale. When you know that Italy can produce good beer so is this a little disappointment. Ok malty flavor.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled@Punavuoren Ahven, Helsinki (thanks KjellHell!). Golden colour with a small creamy white longlasting head that leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel malts, some alcohol, mild toffee, some slight herbs, yeast and a bit sugary notes. Flavour is fruity, caramelly, mild alcohol, some toffee as well as some sugary notes. As it warms up it got some slight gluelike sweetness in the flavour as well.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Hits all the standard Belgian notes without excelling at any of them. Rather heavy handed biscuit and caramel from the ’doppio malto’ with hints of orange peel and spice from the yeast. Lacking a bit in hops to my mind and all in all, feels a bit unrefined and unfinished.
