Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co, Clekenwell - London. Many thanks to Kenny. Pours unclear pinkish gold with a foamy white cap. The nose holds doughy pale bread, citrus, herbs. Medium sweet flavour with light alcohol bump, lemon rind, bitter grass, more herbal notes. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with notes of crusty bread, grains and citrus fruits. Interesting. OK.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle split at CBC Clerko, thanks to Kenny, 10/09/15.
Hazed orange topped with a decent off white swirl.
Nose is straw, light puke, pink berry, floral notes.
Taste comprises bitter fruit, farmy, light wood, faint citric peel, hay.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok ... hides the ABV well but on the other hand doesn’t deliver a lot on said ABV.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
10th September 2015
Craft Clerkenwell Bottle Share. Hazy pink tinted gold beer, big fluffy pale peach colour head. Palate is light with modest fine carbonation. Sweet floralness. Mild spice. Sweet floral generic fruits. More floralness and spice. Light finish. Hides the abv very well but was expecting something more coherent than this.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours murky hazy rose with a decent off-white head. The nose is soft, juicy, floral/hibiscus, light jam, bubblegum, light plastic and Welch’s grape juice. The taste is crisp, bitter, toasty, light spice, hibiscus, sweet, juicy, grape skin and rhubarb. Medium + body and highish carbonation. A touch restrained overall, but enjoyable nonetheless. Hides abv pretty well also.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle share at CBC Clerkenwell, many thanks to Ken. 10%. Hazy peachy orange, still, small foamy white head. Aroma is varnish, white spirit, grape juice and rhubarb. Body is light, tingly carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is varnish, glue, rhubarb tart. Quite strange. Not sure what they were aiming for, but whatever it was I think they missed. Still, it’s not bad.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Corpo leggero, molto carbonata.
Molto elegante e delicata.

4.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Pours a cloudy orange body with a large creamy white head. Nose is complex notes of dark and red berries, syrup, raisins, white sugar, caramel and hints of straw and dusty grass. Taste is white sugar, raisins, plums, red berries, alcohol, straw and hints of candi sugar, honey and dry yeast tones. Medium to full body, high carbonation. Once again, an Italian experimental ale full of gusto and with little to no direction. Is this a mead, fruit beer or Belgian strong ale? Only an Italian would now. Or, at least, not me. Not horrible, just very strange and not too wonderful in any way.
