341 ml bottle in a mixed 12-pack from Trappe a Fromage, served cold in a tulip glass. 25JL10.

App.: Hazy golden with a small tight white head. Aroma: Fairly fruity, some pine/resin hops, biscuit malt, apple juice, light caramel, lacks C-hops typical of style. Palate: Medium body, fairly lively effervescence. Flav.: There’s the C-hops! Nice grapefruit, a little pine, resinous, a fruity biscuit malt backbone, not bad; dry with fair bitterness and a light malty finish.

Not a shining example of the style, but drinkable.

Bottle 341ml Pours dark golden, with good white head, featuring good retention. Aroma is of hops, citrus, some sweetness. Taste is citrus, sligth malt, some sweetness. Nice balance. A good beer for the price.

Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’agrumes avec une pointe de céréales. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. 341 ml bottle from Premier Wines and Spirits (Halifax). Pours a nearly clear golden colour with steady stream of fairly large bubbles and a good-sized white head. Aroma is light floral and citric hops and some modest pales malts. Flavour mostly floral hops, though fairly tame, with some light citrus and a bit of a malty backbone. Average body; busy carbonation. Decent.

Bottle. This brew suffered from the exact affliction I found in the IPA. Whether it’s oxidation or poor craftsmanship or just a shitty choice in hops, there is an intensely plastic chemical character to this beer that I could not stand. Very poor.

This is supposed to be a APA? Shitty offering. Pours a golden yellow with a big frothy white head. Aroma is astringent hops and malt, fairly unpleasant. Taste again is very astringent with more malt profile than hop. Can barely pick up the hops at all.

Golden copper colour with a frothy white head and lace. Refreshing fruit hop aroma. Crisp flavour of hops. Malt bitter finish. Refreshing beer. Lacks a bit of body.

light amber colour, clean and clear. aromas of honey, malts, and some lemon note as well. palate is medium bodied at best, crisp, light malt and finishes slightly hoppy but metalic as well. an everyday brew.

Bière limpide, quoique un peu brumeuse, couleur or et coiffée d’un col aérien immaculé. Des arômes lactés et intenses de résine. Un accent certain a été mis sur le houblonage! Très amère avec une fin légèrement minérale. En bouche, elle offre une effervescence moyenne et une texture légèrement collante. Elle offre une fin intensément amère et moyennement arômatique.

341ml bottle in a tulip. Bright copper pour with almost white head that recedes slowly and leaves a tiny lace. Mostly floral hops on the nose with a bit of underlying malt character and there’s a soapy quality hidden in there too. A little sweet up front with a decent bitter hop bite that lingers back into sweetness. There’s something odd in the mouthfeel I can’t put a finger on. Overall a lot better than expected but still far from great.

Seems a little Belgian in the aroma as well, with a kinda candi-sweetness and grassy, floral hops. The taste is floral hops and thin malt. Maybe a little cardboard. Bitter only up front. Thin at the end. Not bad, not great.
