COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

pours slightly hazy pale yellow with a small white head, little retention, some lacing. herbal, lemon, pepper, decent light toasted malts, light spices, woodiness, very fruity, not much belgiumness here. soft carbonation, medium body, short to medium long citrusy finish. decent but meh.

341 ml bottle. Pale blonde color with foamy head. This is a good introduction to the style. Good balance between the yeast taste and belgian hops. Agrumes also in the flavor, but not a lot of other thing ot taste. The finish is a little bit dry.

Pale golden-yellow pour with a tight white head. Banana and clove with some light apricot and a bit of sweet apricot and some light citrusy spice. A bit of bubble gum and some light fruity sweetness. A touch of peach and yeasty spiciness. Pretty nice stuff.

Bottle. Hazy medium gold, decent white head. Aroma is a honeyed pale malts with some subtle estery fruit. More assertive esters on the palate, citrus and banana, with decent pale malt structure and a mildly peppery finish. Decent enough.

Bottle: Poured a lightly dirty yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet Belgian malt is enjoyable enough. Taste is nice enough mix between some semi-sweet Belgian malt with light notes of dry hops. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not the most complex beer out there but well brewed nonetheless.

341ml bottle. Belgian strong beer crossed with Quebec macro. The 9% is hidden reasonably well in yeast, malt and citrus, with a touch of spice and fruit. It took me a few drinks to realize I should have checked the abv more carefully. Hazy yellow colour. Not an authentic Belgian ale, but refreshing nonetheless.

341ml bottle. Bright golden pour with a huge white head that has odd big holes in it like I’ve never seen. Leaves a ton of lace down the sides of the glass. Nose is full of bready notes with some fruity esters. The alcohol really lays over the whole thing and takes away from it. Quite fruity on the palate with a real off note I can’t identify, might be the alcohol. The finish is a mess, almost burns and leaves a weird medicinal feel.
