La fermentación a alta temperatura permite la total expresión de los aromas que la levatura es capaz de aportar. Es una cerveza de color pálido y fina burbuja, suave al paladar, llena de frutas frescas y aromas a malta recién sacada del horno.

Not a bad beer at all, but it seems much better before drinking. Its sister "Ambar Negra" is much better. Soft sweet aroma. Pale blond colour with very light head. Sweet malt flavor with a fruit palate.

A Mes rate: 33cl bottle thanks to Chris. Pale blonde colour with no head. Shockingly bad aroma with just some very off, rotting cardboard to note. Flavour was thankfully a little better. The cardboard is still there but less pronounced. Light malty notes and slight caramel with some slight oxidisation due to it being a year out of date. To be honest it probably did it a few favours... Not a world beater by any stretch of the imagination.

Bottle. Dark golden colour with a medium bubbly head. Sweet malty bit fruity aroma. Flavour is bit crispy, malty and bit sweet, fruity, hoppy. Nice fruity sweetish finish.

(Sample #8 [bottled] at the first Biertest-Online Gathering, Düsseldorf, 29.12.06) Clear, pale golden colour with a foamy white head. Moderately sweet, slightly bready, cookie-like aroma with notes of citrus and a herbal touch. Sweetish, slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Malty, slightly bready and moderately fruity taste, slim, slightly bitter finish with a whiff of herbal hops.

OK Pale Ale, but is more like a lager than an ale. Very pale in colour with a thin white head. Sweet malts and a light bitterness which is very light, lighter than both IPA and American Pale Ale’s.

330ml bottle. Fresh malty aroma with citrus notes. Moderate to thin white foam over a bright golden body. Citric flavour with a short bitter aftertaste. Slightly metallic impression. I would rather label the beer a standard pale lager and not a pale ale (Thanks to Eva for bringing the bottle back from Barcelona.)

Nice appearance with a thin white layer of foam for a head. Very little aroma. Strong bitterness.

IslandHaole (1091) - Yokosuka-Shi, Kanagawa-Ken, JAPAN - FEB 25, 2006
Clear light golden color, a thin white layer of foam for a head. Smells like wet cardboard, yuck, artificial taste, nothing enjoyable at all about this beer, what a pity it travelled all the way from Spain to Japan to get poured out.

Bottle - best before 30/8/03! Overall a pretty average beer, deserving of it’s average score. Slightly lemony aroma, but not much else. It has a sweet flavour that is not badly balanced, however not too interesting either. Could do worse.
