Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Pours an opaque murky brown with hardly any head. Aroma of dark, dried overripe fruit and a whiff of phenols and manure – heavily oxidized. Rich body, very low in carbonation, dark dried, overripe fruit with a bitter finish. Sort of a British style Barley Wine – yet quite different. 230213

Bottle from BQ, Milan
Brown color, flat. Mild aroma of caramel and tar. Heavy body, with strong flavor of dark caramel, some roasted malt; definitively sweet, but balanced by the dark malts; very light traces of oxidation; correct bitterness.
Not bad, but 12 years ago I brewed a Barley Wine with kits and… it tastes like this.
