Cask handpull at The Talbot Taphouse (the Amber tap), Ripley, Derbyshire, 30/04/11. Attractive walnut with a steady beige top. Gravy dusted with coffee aroma. Soft and gently lactic with good clean earthiness, nuts and berries rolled in chocolate. Good quaffer.

Cask at CPK. Pours a light, brown-gold with a modest, white head. Light, bready malt aroma with some earthy hops. Has some nice sweetness, just offset by pleasant, earthy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. The finish is nicely balanced, with some short-linger bitters. Typical bitter, but pretty decent.
