Cask@Euston Tap, London. Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready and caramel malty with some herbal, fruity and wooden notes. Flavour is wood, mild resiny and caramelly notes with slight biscuity notes.

Cask @ Euston Tap, Euston NW1.Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish.

(Cask at Euston Tap, Euston, London, 22 May 2011) Copper colour with brief, white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, citrus, biscuity malt and hints of toast. Malty, toasty taste with canned fruit, toast and biscuity malt. Rather light body with balanced sweetness and a mild bitterness. Hardly exciting, but definitely drinkable.

Cask. The Old Horse, Leicester. Floral. White head, murky orange body. Bitter. Dry finish.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Clear gold with a foamy head. Light toast malt aroma. Pretty sweet, hints of wood, a little fruit, mild toast. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Woody finish, lightly dry, some earth. Good beer.

Cask handpull at The Talbot Taphouse (the Amber tap), Ripley, Derbyshire, 30/04/11. Brassy amber with good lacing condition and some aroma to it- at last a venue north of Nuneaton not sparklering their beer into nothingness..Thistle and orange peel on the nose. Gentle wash of tangy orange, floury vanilla, Rich Tea linger. Clean and balanced, some digestives dunked in seawater. Good.

From cask at guildford arms. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and roasted malty. Flavour is bitter and breadish roasted mal. Slight fruity and hoppy dry finish.

Cask at the pub of the same name i.e The Barnes Wallis, Ripley, Derbyshire, 08-07-10 Really soapy hops in the mouth, bit too soapy for me. The bitterness shows better balance than the Dambusters IPA but still lacks something compared to that beer, a bit fruity, its ok stuff, pours gold with white rim. A5 A4 T5 P3 Ov10 2.7
