OK. 9/10/9/8/7/8

In aroma it’s a little bit cherry and dark chocolate. It’s completely dark, non-transparent with rather big but quickly drooping head. In taste it’s mostly coffee and chocolate but then it’s this huge, long and annoying, jarring aftertaste of chili. It’s so annoying that it makes the beer is so interesting, so different. Great idea in my opinion. Good one from Amber.

50cl bottle courtesy of kevnic2008@idem’s exotic Kurstadt tasting 12/07/2014. Pours like bordeaux-brown velvet curtain. Weighty-stale nose of chocolate malts, syrup, only slightly alleviated by a spicy prickle. Underneath is a monodimensional, ponderous milk chocolatey porter with a noticeable fresh chili tickle in the back end, cleaning the palate for the next duller porter gulp on the front end. Enjoyable small-batch sipping, if a bit undercomplex for its high calory and abv toll for my tastes.

Thanks to Mariusz for sharing! The beer starts smmoth-malty with a nice chilli-hotness. Fresh, smooth, nice. The aftertaste is sweet-chocolate thick with a nice smooth chilli-finish. 12/10/11/12

Dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, süß, schokoladig. Geschmack süß, Karamell, leichte Schärfe, Kaffee. Im Abgang merkt man die Schärfe deutlich.

Taste of raisins, cherries, chocolate. Spice and sour cherry dominate in taste, but artificial sweetness is also recognizable. Generally, the mixture is "too rich". Very unbalanced beer. I feel that the brewery had no clear idea on what this beer should taste like.

500ml bottle, BB 19.06.14. Poured black with some flashes of ruby red and a dense beige head. Smells like toffee and fruity, molasses. Luscious mouth feel without being too full. Tastes very sweet and fruity without noticeable chili, hang on, there it is. Slight burn in the back of the throat and on my lips. Smooth and easy drinking. I quite like it but call me old fashioned, I think I prefer it without the novelty of the chili.
