Strong dark beer of the porter famili, characterised by a full taste and rich aroma. Perfect with gourmet desserts, and especially dark chocolate. 18.1 P

Coffee and dark chocolate come to mind from the aroma and taste. Pours near black with sparse beige head. Overall sweet palate, slick mouthfeel. Nice winter warmer.

Pours a dark black with a creamy frothy head. Aromas of big toffee, caramel, roasted malt, and biscuit. Flavors of toffee, caramel, bread, slight nuttiness, and light biscuit. Medium sweet. No alcohol noticed. Light bitterness. Light roasted malt/toffee finish. Rated while watching the X-files. Mostly a dominant erosion of toffee maltyness which reminds mush of a bock.

Black body, which gets red against the light. Rocky head, but reduces quickly. Very weak aroma, but mostly malty and chocolate. Taste is mostly chocolate without bitterness. Finish is sweet and malty.

Recenzja 10 lipca 2011 Zdecydowanie bardziej aromatyczny od innych polskich porterów. Mocno czekoladowy.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2013 Aroma is roast coffee beans. Head is beige; nice and lasting as a thick ring. Color is almost black with strong coffee reflections when facing sunlight. The taste is great. You can’t really feel the booze so much and that’s great for a porter! Taste is delicate and the finish is very mild. Very good, although a bit boring.

Dark brown pour with a tan head. The aroma has some roasted malt, chocolate and nutty notes. The flavor is similar with roasted malt and nuttiness coming through the most. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

500 mL bottle. Likely the best imperial porter I’ve tried. I didn’t realize that any level of depth was possible with this style. It looks like all of the others, and the nose smells like Boston brown bread, like many of the others. But there is something that I can only describe as a molasses booziness in the flavour that I find very appealing.
