To tak, jakby wywalić wódę z Żywca i nie dosypać do niego reszty wydanej nam podczas zakupów w Lewiatanie. Trochę lepiej. Mniej nachalnie. Bardziej stoutowo.

Piwo leżakowane, spożyte około 7 miesięcy po dacie przydatności. Barwa niemal czarna, klarowne. Obfita i drobna beżowa piana piana dość szybko zanika. Aromat karmelowy z lekką nutą biszkoptową, dominującą czekoladą i wyczuwalną kawą. Bardzo ułożony, gładki smak z przewagą gorzkiej czekolady. Wysycenie poniżej średniej. Doskonale zbalansowane piwo, choć podejrzewam, że spora w tym zasługa leżakowania.

Bottle, sampled at House of Brewers, Brussels, thanks to Bractwo Piwne. Almost black in colour, with tint of red. Not an awful lot in aroma but there is a bit coffee and traces of black malts. Flavour is a bit different from the Baltic Porters I’ve had, especially the Polish ones, this seems to have had a higher fermentation rate than the average. It is fairly dry, with lots of black malt giving it a hard, toasty flavour profile, with not so much sweetness. I did not sense much residual sugars at least. So, all in all a bit different Polish Porter.

Bottle. Clear red brown coloured with a small off white head. Sweet and roasted aroma of rye bread and dreid fruits. Sweet and roasted flavour of dried fruits, caramel and rye bread with notes of alcohol. Roasted finish. Quite nice for a polish beer.

deep dark brown with a tight moussy tan head that rises proud out of my Duvel glass. looks like souffle quite intriguing, might have to award a 5 for appearance for the first time. aroma is bread and chocolate. bread choc and sweet flavours with an smooth counter bitterness. its prety good without being great.
