Hellmalziger, karamellig süßer Beginn. Das Bier bleibt konstant, die Süße wird aber im Mittelteil von mäßiger Herbe überdeckt, kommt zum Ende aber wieder störend hervor. 9/7/7/7/8/7

500ml Bottle: BBD 7th Oct 2014, poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 20th Aug 2014. Pale amber to golden in colour, white head that soon turned into a wisp and collar. Sweet malts in the nose and taste, in fact very sweet malts. Good carbonation levels, makes the beer crisp and sharp even though it is sweet in nature and lacks a hop bitterness. Needs more hop balance in my opinion: I managed the whole bottle, but one was enough.

500ml bottle fromThe Polish Club Milton 110714. Interesting beer and not your usual Polish pale lager but something with a bit of aroma, flavour and character. An even layer of white foam sits atop a vibrant orange beer that is clear. Aroma and flavour replicate a hefeweizen with banana in both.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2014 Golden body with medium creamy white head. Weak caramel aroma. Sweet malts mixed with pleasant bitterness.

500ml bottle. BB 05.12.2014. Pours a light golden colour with a slight haze to it. Nice thick, dense head. White densely packed head which leaves minimal lacing. Light malt aroma. Sweet malt taste with minimal hops. Soft carbonation and medium-full body make this quite drinkable.

Good, fine and dense, just yellowish head over golden clear beer. Chalk, grain, bit of malt, lettuce, rainwater. Very malty, sweet pale malts, faintly grassy and faint green herbs. Just a little tip of foasted grains. Warming up, sweeter and sweeter. Feels quite carbonated, light body, faint gristslickness. CO² lends just a touch of acidity. Not much more than a decent (sweetish) Pilsner. Dziękuję, Aga i tatę!

Bottle, courtesy of Yngwie, cheers man! :-) Pours a dark golden body with a medium creamy white head. Aroma is pale malts, dusty hops, bread dough and hints of red berries and faint fusel tones. Taste is pale malts, bread crumbs, dusty hops and hints of bitter herbs in the finish. Light to medium body, medium to fizzy carbonation. A pretty mediocre strong lager beer in many ways, though the very genre "heller bock" is rather rare to me. :-)

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2014 BB 14.08.2014. Poured a clear pale golden colour with a two- to three-finger white frothy head that diminished quickly to a collar that laced poorly. Carbonation moderate with medium bubbles forming trails. Aroma strongly of malt, some earthy hints, some alcohol, but no hops. Taste is very sweet, strongly of malt, and traces of alcohol; too sweet! Light body. Far too sweet!! Little if any difference to Amber Mocny Red.

Boring. Pale golden beer with rubbish head. The aroma is diacetyl, malts and virtually no hop. Low bitterness, sweet.

Bottle. Fizzy golden beer with virtually no head. The aroma is sugary, and the flavour has some bitterness but is generally syrupy with maltiness at the finish. Overall a poor generally sweet beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
