500ml bottle from The Polish Club Milton 140714. This really is a great beer and s much more than I ever expected. Burnt copper colour with a light brown head. The aroma is very malty with some smoke in the background. The flavour is full with loads of roasted malt and burnt toffee.

Bottle at first "Er klopt iemand op de deur" tasting aka EBT3. Thx to everyone for sharing today’s beers! APPEARANCE: clear amber beer, small unstable off white head. NOSE: sweet, malts. TASTE: malts, sweet, rather boring.

500 ml. bottle sampled @ "Er Klopt Iemand Op De Deur" Samson & Gert Bierproeving I. Thanks to JorisPPattyn! Neat label. Spare, rocky head, clear dark ruby. Light metallic lager style cereal, toffee, nutty, caramel, cookie, banana, bubblegum, medicine, cola, thin iron lager finish. Light, mineral body. Average taste-duration, okay.

Pours copper red with a large foamy beige head, light lacing, reasonably good retention. Aroma of cereal, roasted malt, damp, lightly vanilla and caramel. Taste is molasses, treacle, toffee, burnt, light bitterness, lightly of alcohol, long finish of treacle and roasted malt. Heavy body, medium carbonation, syrupy.

500ml bottle. BB 27.11.2014. Pours the colour of brown muscat with a billowing tan head which disappears all too quickly. Smells like freshly pitched home brew. Tastes like figs & raisins with only a hint of bitterness. Swish it around in your mouth and it’s quite creamy otherwise the body is fairly light and there seems little in the way of carbonation. Sticks to the tongue as a bit of an afterthought.

Thanks to Ivanec for bringing this from Poland! Dark red-brown body. Almost generic sweet malt-dominated aroma, sticky with notes of caramel. Dry, grainy taste, all about the sweet maltiness... very light bitterness near the finish. The score in my notes = the score on the site - yay? Whatever the case, not a bad slightly stronger dark lager, but doesn’t thrill, matching my expectations exactly.

DWFIG; Pours red brownish color with a short lasting off-white head. Nose is malt, caramel and dried fruity. Taste is sweet, light bitter and lasting. Body is medium to full, texture is oily to creamy, carbonation is soft. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BB 22.08.2014 Poured a dark brown amber colour with a thick (two- to three-finger) light tan frothy head that retained very well and gave good filmy lacing. Carbonation moderate. Aroma of very nice sweet caramel malts. Taste very sweet caramel with no hops bitterness and alcohol well hidden. Light to medium body. Smooth and very sweet. Good example of a bock.
