Can 50 cl. Courtesy of MiP. Clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Rather malty nose. Medium body with a solid malt base with distinct alcohol. Has a light fruitiness. The finish is a little raw, sulphurous and bitter. But far from the worst example of the style. 031008

50 cl can tahnks to my uncle. BB 04.08.08. Hazy yellow color, white head. Apple, malty, grainy scent. Sweet, herbal, apple, grainy taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Some alcohol aftertaste. Much better than expected, not as all as present alcohol that I imagined before hand.

Can, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours dark golden to amber body colour, perfectly clear in texture with no sediments, head is initially snowy white, frothy, quite dense, medium in size, slowly decreasing to small, compact in its structure and leave some lacing. Carbonation of the body is lively to moderate initially and than moderate.
Aroma: Dusty, some malty sweet background, cardboard, slight notes of alcohol, dull sweetness, considerably heavy malty sweet background. Rather simple, not sophisticated aroma.
Flavour: Front is dull, dusty, moderately to heavy alcoholic, unballanced, very dull, just not good and rather awful, overlycarbonated and the carbonation yet strenghtens this awful, poor beer taste. Not ballanced, without any direction. Some notes of grainy bready sweetness at front becoming poor, dull and really unfresh in the aftertaste. Very poor skunky dull hoppy profile. Finish duration is long and nasty.
Palate: Body is medium to heavy, texture is rather wattery, carbonation on palate is lively but nasty, giving an impression like somebody spit in your mouth. Finish feel is dull, dusty, dry, harsh and heavy alcoholic, really awful and hard to bare.
