Cask at Euston Tap, London. A cloudy orange/golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Nice fruity almost Belgian aroma. Taste is similar, apricot, orange, tropical fruit, quite rich and sweet. This one was a pleasant surprise, enjoyed it.

Cask Handpump at the Roundhouse, Barrow Hill 14/05/2011 (ABV 6.0%) Floral fruity and hop aromas. Golden coloured hazy in appearance and dry on the palate with fruity blackcurrant and passion fruit flavours. A hint of bitterness in a lasting dry finish.

Cask gravity at The Talbot Taphouse (the Amber tap), Ripley, Derbyshire, 30/04/11- en route to Alfrescum with Pops MacDrunkeasy. Some things are worth missing the kick off for. Murky apricot straight out of the cellar (my version was 6%), flimsy lace doily top...but the condition is there. Authentic mad Belgian aroma featuring banana, mown grass, orangey hop, deep apple juiciness, coriander. 8. Peppery and full with all the grassiness, powdery spice and yeast I’m looking for. Thick and drying with an astringent squeak of hops on the teeth. REAL, and probably the pick of the 7 very decent beers I tried at the Amber tap.
