Złote Lwy restores exceptionally rich traditions of Gdańsk brewing industry. It is prepared with the help of a Traditional Brewing Method, according to which each beer kind is produced in separate tanks, solely from barley malt, hop, and Oligocene water. 12.2P

Clear golden colour with medium and fast diminishing head. Weak aroma of malts and minimal grassy background with slighlty cooked vegetable note. Taste is medium sweet and slightly bitter with short malty finish. High carbonation, Low body. Taste like typical corporate lager.

Very light straw-ish colour, beautiful one-finger head stays for a long time, good lacing in the glass. A bit chill-haze. Text on the bottle is all in polish, so don’t get much imformation there. Beeing a premium lager, the aroma comes as no surprise, malt is up front. Taste is bitter and long lasting, with dry mouthfeel. And a very vague hint of plum-like alcohol lurking at the back. Nice beer, but nothing more than an average lager. Bottle itself is a nice peace of art, worthy a display shelf.

Gdansk. Clear gold, small head. Honey and amber malt. A bit dusty, honey. Not terrible.

Złota barwa, klarowna. Piana drobna, dość trwała. Aromat niespecjalny, trochę słodowy, średnio przyjemny. W smaku słodowe, lekka zbożowość, lekka kwaskowość, goryczka średnio-niska. Leciutko wyczuwalny alkohol, wysycenie w normie.

Kiepskie piwo i tyle.

500ml bottle. Golden pour. Yeah Yeah Yeah. Aroma is stale, definitely pasteurized. Flavor is sweeter for a lager, earthy malt, herbs.

Bottle, 50cL. Home. Bought during @Festibiere Jenlain 2015. A clear golden beer with a medium white head ; average to poor retention.Grainy aroma, hay, sugar. Light to medium sweet, light bitter, sugary. Light body, thin texture, average carbonation, short sweet finish ; herbal note. Overall, average OK refreshing beer... after a good run.
