Bottle brown, 500 ml, 12.2P
Appearance: Pours beatiful sunny amber, quite unusuall for a lager colour, carbonation of body is medium than decreases to mild seems to be natural effervescence, head is initially medium, frothy, off - white, but unfortunately quite quickly decreasing to a small froth with hints of lacing. Body is clear, well filtered, but not perfectly, seems almost unpasteurized.
Aroma: yeasty, malty with some intensive hoppy accent making the aroma easy to catch, some sweetness from barley malts, a hint of toffee, a hint of chalk, but covered by other intensive notes, some notes of grapes, a bit winy. Alcohol is also felt in your nose, not that complex aroma, but quite intensive.
Flavour: Perfectly balanced as for a Lager. Very good job. Front is a bit sweet, than on palate you have bitterness from hops, chewy, intensive with nice hoppy exclisive bitterness and some hints of roastyness also without shade of additional sweetness. Very chewy and smooth on the other hand. In a way surprisingly reminds me very drinkable English Bitter like ’Abbot Ale’. Finish duration is average, quite considerable, soft water of good quality.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is a bit dry and you have the sandy impression on palate like the grains of sand are smoothly touching your palate, amazing, carbonation is soft on palate. Finish feel is chalky.

Pours yellow with a thin white head. Smells soapy and metallic. Tastes of water, touches of hops, apples.

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Clear yellow - white head. Toasted, egg, bread, simple, white bread, grainy, light hay, candlewax, caramel, cardboard.

Bottle at Papsø. Clear golden coloured with a small white head. Malty aroma of grain and caramel. Malty flavour of grain and caramel with notes of cardboard. Sweet finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is cornish and light grassy hoppy. Sweet and mild cornish flavoured. Bitter and cornish finish.

clear yellow, small white head. dry aroma, pils hoppy, faint flowery. flavor is bitter malty, flowery, dry. decent bitter lager.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and minerals, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Ninkasi. Pours yellow with a haze and an off-white head. Sweet malty nose, a little bready. Medium body, a clean and sweet maltiness with a vague metallic note and a whiff of cardboard. Hardly any bitterness. Gets a little cloying in the finish. 190412

Poured light golden with a white very fast fading head. High carbonation with a subdued hoppy flavour with a strong aftertaste.

0.5 L bottle from bestillingsutvalget, Vinmonopolet. A finger of cream-ish shiny white head, resting on a clear plain pilsner golden body. Low aroma level. Faint barley grain, and nothing more actually... Light, well carbonated body. Lively mouthfeel. Restraind dry malt flavor. Barely noticable bitterness. Short, spritzy ending. One of a dozen.

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. (Litt for) lys gyldenbrun. Høyt, skinnende hvitt luftig skum som fester seg til glasset og varer en stund. Forsiktig maltaroma med innslag av gress. Lite kullsyre. Smaken er gress med hint av røstet malt. Brukbar tørstedrikk men kjedelig.
