Poured a lightly hazed gold with a nice long lasting white head. The aroma was of light biscuity malt and just a hint of floral hop. Moderately bitter dry finish.

Clear pale blonde with a slightly bitter aroma, fast fading head and simple taste with a bittersweet finish. Short shelf life, due to non-pasturisation but beginning to taste more commercial in recent months.

bottle, donated by my friend Monika - bardo dziekuje! Deep golden, nearly amber colour, slightly hazy perhaps, large white head. Sweet malty nose. Full-bodied, rather sweet and very grainy, robust malty base with some rather nice resiny hops tuned in. Bitter-sweet character, rather dry, hoppy palate. Good strong lager.

Rating #543, a gift from a polish couchsurfer. Thank you so much, Pawel!

It’s a yellow beer with a nice, but airy head. I was a bit dissapointed at first because of the aroma, which is no more than malts, alcohol, metal and a bit caramel. Fortunately the taste was way better with some honey, karamel, malts, sweetness in general, a bit alcohol and only a light bitterness in the finish. Palate is soft a somewhat thick. All in all a nice beer - clearly in the better end of strong eurolagers.

Bottled 500ml. -Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, lively carbonation, slight buttery honeyish nose. Sweet malty, mild hoppy and quite strong buttery taste with not so sweet but alcoholic notes. Nothing special but still drinkable for Polish standards.

Schroppfy (2326) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - OCT 2, 2010
Veggie aroma, but sharp too, pointedly harsh grain. Nice lookin’ in the glass originally, head is lively and stays. Oiliness in the body late. Maybe a little hoppiness in the aroma too. The flavor is corny, fusels, burnt cereal with a sweet buttered popcorn diacetyl note, and really quite bad.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow, classic lager body with a fast-disappearing foamy white head. Aroma is grains, cooked veggies and canny bitter metallic tones. Taste is not too hot; sweet grainy pale malts brought forth by an oily metallic palate with hints of canned food and hints of yeast. Definitely not my cup of tea. Or beer, for that matter.
