JoeZasada (94), Beaumont, Alberta, Canada Jul 10, 2008 Pours a dark pale with a thin white head that stays around... mild citrus aroma... mild malt taste, slight hoppy bitterness, slight hoppy fruitiness... overall pretty good. even more dry hopping would make it better though. presario (2484), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Apr 14, 2008 Cool, somewhat retro cartoon label. Light copper colour. Clean white film head. Light fruity hop scent. Light fruity hop flavour. A bit of apricot and citrus. Enough hops to cut through. A beer for the masses, not quite a crossover beer but a few of them would accompany a hockey game OK. fogducker (12), Alberta, Canada Mar 15, 2008 Quickly dissipating white head, nose of citrus(orange Tang?!). Mild carbonation, iced tea, hops, citrus, grass, not an overpowering hops presence. Nicely balanced pale ale. DuffMan (2101), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jan 19, 2008 A new offering from Edmonton’s newest craft brewer, with a little help from the folks at Alley Kat. Pours a bright amber, moderate white head with only brief retention, no lace. Aroma of dry leaves, slightly resinous and fruity. The hops are papery, earthy, and leafy, with some resin, but the malt has a funny burnt cracker flavour. Hmmm, this just didn’t come together quite right. Still not bad in the end.
