Bottle 0,33ltr: Dark brown heavy dubbel-style ale with some chocolate/caramel taste.

Bottle. Light unclear medium brown color with a average to large, frothy / creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel / roasted,nutty, moderate yeasty, light brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. (Nut bitternes). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (151007)

Bottle: Poured dark brown with reddish tint, the head is thin and off white. Aroma is sweet malt. The taste follows up that sweet malt but has a dry alcohol finish that tingles. Overall very balanced dubbel.

[At Chez Moeder Lambic] Dark red with medium beige head. Sweet and spicy aroma. Taste is vinous and complex. Very good.

also had at the Forum in CPT....pours a tan colour...mmm, nice subtle bitters...super smooth man!....superior head, goood lacing..like an upper class low end bitter..?

Had on draft @ The Forum in CPT ....very smooth beer...slight bitters...pours yellow with a good good head and lacing...a nice beer that feels quite light but is sneaky

Bottle, 33 cl. Dark brown color, with off-white stable head. Aroma, light roasted malts and fruity. Meduium body. Taste malty, bit roasted, bit sweet, choclate, little spicy, . Good.

Sampled at woodshop tasting, Brown pour, somewhat malty, fruity, easy drinking, never would expect an 8% alc. content. Decent brew.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2007 A very nice dark beer, drunk at the brewerie in bottle. Nice and good bodied dark beer.
