Light caramelized sugar in mouth, with milk chocoalte notes. Lightly sour notes. Beer as maderized nicely, bringing out woody notes in this sour brown ale.

Dark and dubbelish pour capped with creamy beige receding to a slick. Nose brazen Brett-like edge, Orvalish freshness peppered with pollen and floral hops. Rose, lily, lavender, farmyard. Trappist-like nuts and choc. Big yeast presence, blanket of horse. Chocolate, nuts, fresh bread. Slick dark Trappist character (Westmalle Dubbel?) with spontaneous touches. Pours a nice, red-brown with a medium, creamy, beige head. Aroma has lots of raisins, some oakiness, chocolate, plums and a great yeasty note. A good, frothy, lightly creamy, mouthfee - just a tad on the thin side, perhapsl. Flavour has good chocolate, yeast and a good deal of dried fruits. Caramelly sweet flavor with ginger, coreander, mint, vanilla and anis. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Sticky mouthfeel. Dark brown, black with cream head. Malty, sweetish beerreally quite fruity, with sucrose notes. Quite heavy on the palate with a little late hop. Not bad at all.
