Als leichtere Variante gibt es Amboss Blonde. Dieses helle filtrierte Bier ist ausgesprochen ausgewogen mit einer sehr milden Bittere im Abgang.

Tap at Cafe’ Noir, Zurich, December 2012, affiliated with the brewery and close to its distribution center. Pours clear golden-blond with white head. Faint malt, faint grass and a little honey in the nose. Tastes malty, at first like a generic pale lager but then it gets better. Light body, smooth, delicate carbonation, short finish.

Clear golden, good white foam, decent malt aroma. Refreshing lager without faults. Decent hops.

Golden yellow pour, white head. Very mild aroma, like white bread. Pretty well balanced taste, but not very interesting. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Crisp finish.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw - very clean. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and minerals, leading to a slightly mineralic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a dense, creamy and white head. Aroma is grassy and mild hayish. Mild citrusy and hoppy fruity flavoured. Bitter and slight citrusy into the finish.

Clear golden coloured body with a thin, fast-dying white head and a few bubbles rising from the sides of the glass. Aroma of metal, light yeast, corn, caster sugar and not much else. Effervescent feel - light-bodied; Sharp malty flavours with a funky cardboard and odd stale taste with some sugar and watery alcohol tucked in. Aftertaste isn’t much better - bland at best and bitter and obtuse at worst. Overall, pretty bad - not really worth trying, and definitely not worth bringing home from your trip abroad, like I did! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from A Tutta Birra in Milan, Italy on 12-November-2009, sampled at home in Washington on 16-April-2010.
