Maria (3816), Thisted, Denmark May 9, 2008 From tap at the brewery. Hazy, light brown with a nice head. The aroma has sweetness and notes of malt. The flavour is sweet with notes of malt and caramel - and IMO it’s monotonous without surprises of any kind. One that I have forgotten even one week later.
imdownthepub (3960), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Jul 12, 2008 On tap at Ambrausianum Brewpub, Bamberg. Clouded amber brown with thin white head. Again quite an amateurish beer, yeasty, tart and thin. Not very good. Ernest (4186), Boulder, Colorado, USA Feb 14, 2008 Draught, Ambräusianum, Bamberg.
Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting.
Body is dark amber.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, caramel), lightly hoppy (flowers).
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation.
Too sweet. Kinda boring. motelpogo (4111), Plzen, Czech Republic Oct 15, 2007 on tap at the brewpub. copperish qwith a slim white head. faintly woody aroma, thick texture, plain generic dark malt flavours with modest tinny bitterness. whatever Slayer85 (434), Firenze, Italy Aug 3, 2007 Sample draught at the brewery.
