Sample draught at the brewery. A red beer with an off light brown foam. Aroma is malty and light caramelly, while thar flavour is overall sweet with notes of malt and a light bitternessin the finish. maybe the best from this brewery.

Dark nut brown color, small steady creamy beige head. Nose has toasted malts, tobacco and notes of dark chocolate. Sharp, slightly acidic mouthfeel. Dry, ashy, toasted malts. Not really my favourite dunkel but this one is brewed perfectly to fit dunkel-style - as such earns some extra merit.

On tap @ the brewery. Aroma is like the smell of the dusty church nearby accompanied with some caramel malts. Hazy, orange-brown coloured with an off-white, medium, lasting head. Taste is a bit sweet, dusty, nutty, caramel malty. The beer has a smooth, creamy palate.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orange head. The aroma is with weird notes of fish and some acidity combined with notes of yeast - weird, but still OK. The flavor is sweet malty with hints of acidity and light notes of oranges. Forgetable.

Tap @ Brauerei. Hazy nutbrown color, short creamy off-white head. Aroma is very dusty, toffee, nutty. Creamy taste, very nutty, some toffee. Quite dry. Slight bitter sour palate. Best of the three beers served.

Tap at the Brauhaus, Bamberg 0,5ltr: Dark Dunkel from this newcomer, the taste almost like an Newcastle Brown Ale.

Draught. Medium high white fluffy and quickly disappearing head. Very dark, amost black, brown body. Burned barley malt aroma with caramel. Coffee caramel with a bitter touch of berries. Low carbonation. Short sweet aftertaste.

Draught@Ambräusianum, Bamberg.Light roasty and sourly aroma. Hazy, light brown color. Light sourly flavorwith roasty and grainy notes. Rosted malt bitterness.

Draught@Ambräusianum, Bamberg. Not so bad. Nutty, bready, with light notes of caramel. Some hope bitterness and grassy characters coming through in the finish.
