33 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown with a fizzy tan head. Dense dried fruity and mild spiced aroma. Dense caramel malty and slight dark breadish. Mild spiced too. Dry lingering roasted malt and breadish.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thick light tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of dusty hops and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet malty again with notes of over ripe fruits and dusty hops. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle, thx to thewolf. Dark golden colour with a beige head. Aroma is fruit, hop, caramel. Flavor is fruit, sweet, malt, caramel, hop. OK beer.

Bottle, thx to thewolf. Pours a hazy, orange-brown with lots of floaties of all sizes, from the tinyest small to big chunks. Beige head leaving nice lacings. Malty-sweet flavor with fruityness and some pale malt. Fruity, caramel flavor with some hoppy bitterness and a little spiced touch. Quite dry. Fruity and slightly caramel-sweet finish. Decent beer, but far from impressing. (080301)

(on bottle, thanks thewolf) Sunflower and canesugar in the aromas. Waterish and thin body; but the finish gets all vanilla and sweet tobacco + peat andnutmeg; nice catch.

Bottle. Hazy amber-orange. Sweet yeasty ripe fruity aroma. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with dark fruits, malt and...dust. Sweet fruity finish.

Bottled (by Duwac, BBE 09/04...), bought from BelgianShop.com in Jan 2008. Hazy brown colour with big beige fluffy head. Leaves some lace. Aroma is yeast, raisins, some toffee and some notes of mild oxidation (probably due to being this old). Flavour is caramel malts, toffee, yeast and some mild dark dry fruits. No notes of oxidation in the flavour. Dry palate.

(Bottle, best before 09/04) Pours a murky yellowish brown body with an average creamy yellowish off-white head. Aroma of yeast, banana, and raisins. Flavor of yeast, malt, caramel, and some dark fruits.

Hazy light brown with a modest but well sustained fizzy tan head, this ale has an aroma of toffee malt, brown sugar, yeast, and a healthy dose of aniseed. Soft and well carbonated in the mouth. The flavor is a sweet caramel/toffee with a hint of chocolate, yeast, licorice, pepper, and other spices. It finishes on an oddly sweet yet dry note, then leaves a touch of bitterness in the mouth. Dark coppery color, medium yellow head. Chocolate, sweetness, mild alcohol and licorice in aroma. Medium bodied. Chocolate, toffee and mild coffee in flavor, also mild spices. Aftertaste lasts with mild alcohol and spices. Nice complex brew.
