UPDATED: JAN 5, 2010 New version (brewed by Grudska Pivovara)0.5l bottle from the Kaufland in Split. Small-medium thick white head, golden-yellow body. Slightly sweaty dry nose, some vegetabley, some sweetish notes. Taste... corny and bready, some slightly aromatic hopiness giving some bitterness. Not bad overall, a decent successor for the Regent/Tvornica Piva-brewed Ambrosius Gold, possibly the best supermarket beer brewed in Croatia.

The best Croatian supermarket beer. That ain’t much, but it wipes the floor with Presidents Choice, and that foul concoction called K-Plus Pivo. Golden color, lively carbonation, huge fluffy rapidly disappearing head. Nice aroma, bready and hoppy flavor. Nice. But.. was it worth going out of my way (to the other side of my city)? No. It’s not that good. But if you’re tired of Ozujsko Strong and Tomislav, or want to drink something cheap, but good enough, then this is your choice.

500 ml bottle from Grudska pivovara. For a Kaufland beer it’s maybe good but overall this beer was awfull. It was too watery with no aroma at all.

0.5 l bottle from Kaufland. It poured yellow body, paler than other gold beers. Medium sized head. Lemony and somewhat grainy aroma, weaker. Sweetish malty, just slightly acidic corny but with some nice herbal hop bitterness. Pretty balanced brew, medium bodied with fine sweetish bready finish. Like the other Ambrosius in Croatian Kaufland, this is also very good supermarket pale lager.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2009 Bottle 0,5ltr: The labels says brewed at Grudska Pivovara, Bosnia. I must say the svetlo version is better than this sweet stuff.

The BEST low-budget beer available in Croatia. It sure beats crap like K Plus, Adria or MB, it’s price (11 kn/1.4€ for 2l) is ok for what you get.
Got drunk of it many times and I’ll sure do it again!

it is a good beer for the price i pay .. i find it in Zadar in Kaufland ...i dont now why but i like it ...

Bottled(500ml). -when I saw this beer I tought this is going to be just another awful and cheap supermarket beer, but I was wrong. It is cheap but it’s good, pale golden coloured with medium head, strong hop aroma with dry finish, pleasant hoppy aftertaste
