Bottle brown, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours regular golden colour but the texture is not perfectly clear, carbonation is weak and saturation too, head is very unstable, initially small, fizzy to foamy, graish white in colour, quickly diminishing at all. No lacing.
Aroma: Very profounf sweet, syrupy, fruity aroma with a domination of peach, a bit dusty, a bit medicinal. There is posibility to distinguish neither hoppyness nor maltyness.
Flavour: Front is slightly sour like from brewing cereal but this sournessbecomes more and more distinguishable when you drink more, gentle carbonation on palate, much less sweet than the smell would suggest, all in all flat, very accidic, overally kind of dull, lacking in pronounced taste, neither sweet nor salty, nor spicy, undefined with a kind of artificially sweet, flat finish. Not easy going beer.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is moderate, finish feel is dull, flat, wattery and slightly sour.
pivnizub (4003), Porúří, Germany Oct 18, 2008 Bottle (from Kaufland, Jungbunzlau): Golden, mid-sized, quite firm white head with a little lace; illusions of sweet pale malt and hops in the watery nose; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, but not watery; light bitter-sweet finish.
